Refund Policy


The North Stonington Parks and Recreation Department will provide a full credit or refund for an camp/activity if the camp/activity is cancelled by the Department (minus any fees associated with online payments), or upon request when schedule or location changes made by the Department prohibit or limit an individual's ability to attend a camp/activity.

For any reason other than those noted above, a request for refund must be received at least one week before the start of the camp/activity.  The refund will be in the form of a household credit and will NOT include any fees associated with online payments.  This credit can be used on another recreation camp/activity at a later date.  If a refund is requested, the North Stonington Parks & Recreation Department will charge a $10 administrative fee and the refund will NOT include any fees associated with online payments. After this period, there will be no refunds. 

  • Requests for a refund (in the form of household credit) made at least 7 calendar days before the start of camp/activity will be granted.
  • No refund/credit will be given if the request for such is submitted less than 1 week before the camp/activity starts, or after it has ended.
  • Credit for any withdrawal due to extenuating circumstances will be submitted to the Director and reviewed by the Recreation Commission.
